That means you need to declutter, depersonalize, and arrange your furniture in an appealing way. You want to make it look like a fresh slate, like something they could move into tomorrow. The more a home seems lived in, the less appealing it can be for visitors to imagine living there.

Be Responsive

The real estate market is fast-paced, and things can happen in a matter of seconds. That’s why, you have to be extremely responsive and quick on your feet. Be prepared to accommodate showing requests at the drop of a hat, even if it means having to stop what you’re doing to go. If you’re not willing to put in the work or don’t have a schedule that’s flexible enough, then this is where a real estate agent comes in. They all handle the viewings for you, organize open houses, and respond swiftly to offers.

Many people go the route of selling their homes themselves these days since websites like Zillow make it fairly simple. However, it’s extremely time-consuming, and you can make a lot of mistakes along the way if you don’t have enough experience under your belt. Consider going with a real estate agent, and you most likely won’t regret it!
